ABOUT

michael originally found yoga purely for the physical benefits and better posture, but then got hooked on the mental stillness and qualities of self-reflection it provides. he wants to debunk the myth that Yoga is just for the naturally flexible but for those who want to better themselves in one way or another. He learned that it is a practice of dedication, of physical and mental strength. it is also a lesson in humility - yoga is never completed. It keeps you humble.

Michael’s classes are open to all levels and bodies of all shapes and sizes with modifications given to either scale up or scale down the practice. He wants to make the benefits of yoga available to all: desk therapy for high intensity jobs, nourishment for sportsmen and gym-goers, and a tonic to alleviate the physical and mental stress of daily life.

With 12 years’ experience in martial arts and a Tae-Kwon-Do blackbelt, Michael focuses on physical alignment to help students to become more embodied. He provides students an open space to strengthen, lengthen, and release. Michael aims to empower his students to develop a strong and connected practice to achieve what they once never thought possible. set to upbeat music to get the blood flowing and heart beating it’s also about having fun along the way.
